Many thanks, we had a wonderful suite and big veranda, a lot of time we spend on the balcony and had best views.
Restaurants were very good. Ship is very old, but it was ok, of course Silversea Nova is more nice in design. Entertainment program in the evening was much better than in Nova.
Excursion were available for free or to pay, even by waiting list it was no problem to get an excursion. Quality of excursions – variable from country to country and no depend free or extra cost.
Angola, Namibia, Sao Tome, Benin (extra cost) , Gran Canarias, Lisbon = super 👍
Ghana (extra cost), Senegal, Ivory Coast ( extra cost) – very bad, poorly organized.
Fitness trainer is very good, gym is small and useful, pool was good, sunbeds were good, professors lections were very interesting about Africa’s colonialization. Over all it was an excellent cruise.
Of course, 4 days at sea were very difficult, because the Captain had to skip one stop in Cabo Verde due to windy weather.
And now we are looking forward to sailing again next year.

Everything there was perfect: the ship, the crew, the great food, and the excursions. From Bordeaux to Dublin with only good weather – what more could one want. Always a joy to be at sea.

We are flying back to Frankfurt shortly and have gifted ourselves two more days in Lisbon to process everything we experienced.
Never before have my wife and I experienced such a well-thought-out concept. Starting with the motion sensor for when you need to go to the bathroom at night, the shower, the water pressure, the underfloor heating. The silence in the room, the in-suite dining.
But at the very top, of course, are the hosts and this incredible food. On the last evening, we treated ourselves to the “Anthology” and are grateful for the experience. Sensational – also the service team accompanying it. We didn’t think the “regular” food could still be topped like that.
Many thanks also for the onboard credit, which we more than fully used, and for the refund to the account.
We will gladly book through you again.
